I had an amazing stay at the Davenport, which perfectly blends historic charm with modern luxury. The service was exemplary, making us feel truly pampered during our visit. The rooms were very comfortable, and the dining at the Palm Court Grill was an absolute treat, although they could enhance their menu a bit. The location is also a big plus, allowing easy access to local attractions. All in all, a great experience, with just a few areas for improvement.

My stay at the Davenport Historic Hotel was quite pleasant overall. The ambience and historic charm of the hotel were impressive and added to the experience. However, there were some hiccups during my visit, particularly with the meal service and housekeeping which could be improved. On the whole, I enjoyed my time there and appreciated the unique character of the property.

The corner room I stayed in was spacious and nicely decorated, although it lacked some modern conveniences like a microwave. It was clean, but I've come to expect a bit more attention to detail for the price.

The Historic Davenport Hotel is a visually stunning and memorable place to stay, especially during the holiday season when the lobby is beautifully decorated. The service is generally impressive, though there were some hiccups during check-in. The rooms are charming but show signs of aging, which may not appeal to everyone. Overall, it's a great place for those who appreciate history and luxurious touches, despite a few drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms exude charm with their historic features, but some may find them a bit dated and oddly arranged, especially with the odd layout from the bed to the large shower. The windows also didn't shut completely, which was a slight issue.
Service

Most staff members were attentive and quick, particularly the valets, but there were moments of slow check-in that could improve significantly.

The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, providing a lovely ambiance, especially the spa services, though some areas could benefit from updates.

The Historic Davenport is a beautiful and grand hotel with a charming atmosphere that reflects its rich history. While the accommodations are comfortable and nicely appointed, I found the Wi-Fi access to be quite poor, which made my business stay less convenient. Although the staff is attentive, the noise from nearby trains and other disturbances significantly detracted from my experience.

The Historic Davenport is a beautifully restored hotel that showcases its rich history, making for an elegant stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but there were notable inconsistencies in the dining experiences, particularly with the Palm Court Grill which fell short of expectations. The staff provided an exceptional level of service, enhancing the overall experience. However, while the ambiance and quality in the restaurant could be improved, the hotel’s charm and amenities make it a worthwhile visit.
